This week was BlogHer conference in New York, so I was much more stylish than usual.
Thursday I wore a red dress by Rachel Pally and Steve Madden espadrilles for a night around NYC. It was cool and comfy, although I was the queen of wardrobe malfunctions! When I walked up on this gorgeous rooftop deck, my skirt blew up a la Marilyn. Then my shoulder strap fell down like 3 times when I was reaching out to hug people. “Hi! Clearly, I am VERY excited to meet you!” So in the future, I will wear with caution. On completely not windy days.
Friday, I started out in this cute pink skirt from J. Crew then proceeded to sit on something during a cab ride and had to switch to the skirt I got at the CAbi event on Thursday night! Thank goodness I had another skirt in my arsenal! The cami and sweater are LOFT. This necklace is by ily couture and it was nearly identical to the one that the fashion director if Lord and Taylor on 5th Avenue was wearing. And Dmitry and Fabio of Project Runway told me they loved it. (SQUEEE!!) So you will be seeing it a lot, people. Get used to it.
Saturday, I wore this pink blazer from H&M with a lace top (from 77kids. Don’t judge.). The jeans are 7 For All Mankind and the shoes are Target. But, by the end of this night, it was flip flops, as my feet were killing me after such a weekend!
Since I’ve been home it’s been yoga pants galore. and will continue to be for probably a week or so.

Saturday we went out on a date! I tried out one of my outfits for BlogHer…
This pink blazer is from H&M and the lace top is from (cough, cough) 77Kids. Jeans are old, by 7 for All Mankind and the shoes are from Target clearance rack last year. Sunday was hot hot hot! My new necklace arrived this week and I was dying to wear it! Necklace is from Ily Couture and jeans are Old Navy.

Mom Fashion | What I Wore
Its been a crazy week here. How does one little time ballet recital hijack an entire week?
Anyway, on Thursday we had dress rehearsal for the recital. So I wore this cute aqua shirt from Anthroplogie with my cobalt jeans. My goal is to wear more brights!
And Friday, I went to Red Mango and to the first recital. I wore my bright maxi from Kohl’s. (And forgot to take a picture. This picture is from Jamaica. I was not in Jamaica on Friday, sadly.)
Then Saturday I was casual, running around for errands and taking the kids on a bike ride on the trail. I went for some more brights!
Sunday it was actually a little chilly, so I wore this blue blouse from LOFT (clearance – score!) with flare Citizens jeans (super clearance! super score!!). My necklace is from Kohl’s (ALSO clearance!).

It was a busy week! Whew! I barely even remembered to take pictures!
Thursday I was running around and taking the kids to lessons and all sorts of things. I threw on a maxi skirt and t-shirt in an effort to stay cool while running around!

Friday I was playing Super Mom and visiting class parties for all three kiddos for the last week of school. I wanted to be cute, but comfy enough to sit on the floor and play with the kids.
Saturday I went fishing. We will not be seeing pictures of this.
Monday I got to go on a date! WOO! I wore this oldie but goodie. I got this shirt at LOFT like 2 years ago and I love it!

Well, this is what I wore over the last two weeks, sort of. Several days were travel days (comfy mumfy clothes) and some days we were camping (just yucky) and a few days in Jamaica we were just wearing bathing suits all day (heaven).
I love this maxi skirt – I got it at Kohl’s and every time I wear it I get so many compliments! Its soft and comfy and flowy… I love wearing it!
This dress is from JCPenney – I love it! I wore this out to dinner on vacation.
And this is one of my favorite coverups – I picked it up two years ago at Target and it matches my new blue bathing suit perfectly!!

Friday, I was working working working and then took Colin to a birthday party. I just threw on this dolman sleeve tee and my jeans. I picked up this top on clearance at Old Navy for like $4 in the fall! LOVE deals like that!

Thursday I headed to Disney Social Media Moms conference. The first night, we had a party on the beach and I wore jeans and a gorgeous tunic I picked up at Loft Outlet last year.
Friday was conference day! I wore the same thing I wore to the fashion show last week. I just love this shirt!

Then on Monday it was hot, hot, HOT! I broke out one of my fav dresses – I found it at the Theory outlet. It was originally $175. I paid $21. SCORE! These shoes are Sorel, from the new spring line. Aren’t they fun?!!? These are going to be in lots of pictures this spring. I would paint my house that color, I just love it!
